This luxurious, modern and very exclusive guest house is situated in De Kelders along the Atlantic Ocean between Stanford and Gansbaai. It overlooks Walker Bay and the Hermanus coastline and offers spectacular views over the entire bay. You'll be hard-pressed to find a better vantage point from which to view the whales and the pods of dolphins swimming by.

Here at this intimate accommodation luxurious ambiance meets genuine warmth and you'll experience the wonders of nature in its full glory. The lodge is ideally situated in a very serene environment, but offers plenty to see and do including shark cage diving, horse-riding, mountain biking, etc. There are plenty of winefarms as well as a brewery near by.

A hiking trail passing by the front of the lodge takes you to the Walker Bay Nature Reserve where 13km of untouched sandy beaches invite you to picnic and enjoy the most stunning sunsets.

Guest House

The guest house is modern and spacious in its design with the focus squarely on making the most of the breathtaking ocean views. The African arts blend in perfectly with the modern design and create a unique luxurious atmosphere.

Only the highest quality goose down pillows and duvets are provided. Anti-allergic bedding is also available for your convenience. All rooms have silent Panasonic air-conditioning units, a bar fridge, underfloor heating, heated towel rails and en-suite baths with separate showers. The ‘extra touches’ such as bath robes, slippers and an extensive range of bathroom toiletries are available.

Honeymoon Suite

The Honeymoon Suite has a spacious open-plan and unique corner location with panoramic windows overlooking the Walker Bay and the sandy dunes of the Fynbos Nature Reserve. The living area has two comfortable lounge chairs with coffee table, a king-size bed, a 50" plasma screen with DVD player and satellite TV, a fireplace and an executive desk. The open and freestanding designer bath completes the offering making this an ideal romantic get-away. There is also a separate open rain shower.

Bay View Room

The comfortably appointed Bay View Room offers views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Hermanus skyline. It is elegantly furnished with a lounge chair and coffee table, a king-size bed as well as a business desk. There is a 36" LCD screen with DVD player and satellite TV. The bathroom features a modern deep soaking tub and a separate shower. The panoramic sliding door provides direct access to the balcony and the mirrored solar-shield windows provides total privacy.

Expedition Room

The Expedition Room is unique in that guests can enjoy the amazing sea view from the bath, the shower as well as the ultra-cosy Queen-size bed. A plasma screen TV, underfloor heating, air-conditioning and heated towel rails complete this very comfortable offering making your stay an unforgettable one!

Master Suite

The Master Suite is ultra luxurious and provides uninterrupted views over the bay. The bedroom is stylish and very spacious with panoramic windows, elegant furniture and African arts. There is a king-size bed with high quality mattress, two lounge chairs with a coffee table, an executive desk and a 46" LCD screen with DVD player and satellite TV. The magnificent bathroom has a luxurious bath tub which is easily the main feature of the suite. It is state of the art and completely decadent! There are also basins, a toilet and a bidet, all designed by ALESSI, and a GROHE rain-shower completes the double shower for a unique shower experience.

Guests are encouraged to relax in the Finnish Sauna, refresh themselves in the elegant pool or take a sunbath on the balcony or pooldeck. The massage chair is a must to try! Imported from Japan it provides a totally relaxing experience. Personal treatments by professional therapists can also be arranged on request and provided in the privacy of your own suite. For more energetic guests the Vibro Plate is available to strengthen muscles or shed a bit of holiday weight. Mountain bikes as well as Nordic Walking sticks are available for rent.
