The V&A Waterfront is also simply known as “the Waterfront” and this part of the Cape Town harbour. Since it has been developed as a major tourism hotspot, it is usually filled with locals and tourist. Many Waterfront Cape Town restaurants can also be found here. Despite all the new buildings, the old harbour still is fully operational and there are many interesting things to be found. The Clock Tower is one of the main attractions at the V&A Waterfront. From the new Clock Tower ferries can be taken to reach Robben Island which is an important historical symbol in South Africa.
